How it all started

idea

The VertiGo project started with the Idea of Disney Research Zürich to build a robot that can climb walls, even on a bumpy and dirty surface. We took this Idea and came up with a solution.

At this moment we are hard at work building a prototype. This prototype will be presented to the public at the focus roll-out on the 27th of May, 2015 at the ETH main building.

This is the official homepage of the ETH focusproject VertiGo in collaboration with Disney Research.

It is our goal to create a robot that is able to drive on the floor as well as on walls, even if the walls aren’t perfectly flat.
